erika figel roliz

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and raised in Connecticut, Erika lived in New York City while attending Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and Hofstra Law School. She received her MFA in Creative Writing from California College of the Arts in San Francisco.

Her poetry has been published in Watchword, 580 Split, and Switchback, as well as Eleven Eleven. She has been honored to read her work as part of the Bernal Yoga Literary Series and as a featured performer at the La Lunada Literary Series.

She works as an adjunct professor and guest speaker in Connecticut, where she lives with her husband, Francisco, and daughter, Evyn.
