Annie Aird is a regionally renowned painter whose works in acrylic, oil, and watercolor are available on this web site. She has shown in galleries in Salt Lake City, Utah; San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California; and Oaxaca and San Cristobal in Mexico. She also offers a full line of sculpture and photographs from her private studio, and her work is furthermore available in a line of greeting cards published by Seabright Press. Annie has also illustrated book covers for Papier Mache Press.

Annie is a Minnesota native who traveled west to California during The Great Lemming Migration of 1978. Her unique portraiture reflects many years of studying and teaching human form and motion as a gymnastics coach and health instructor in Minnesota, Texas, and South

Annie's vibrant style and distinctive subject matter reflect the exotic colors, shapes, textures, and people she has encountered during her many trips abroad to locales as diverse as China, France, Kenya, Mexico, Norway, the Orkney Islands, Pakistan, Spain, Sweden, Finland,Tibet, and Turkey.

When she is not busy creating art, Annie bakes some of the world's best cinnamon rolls, and enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her six beautiful grandchildren.
