julianna mccarthy

Julianna McCarthy lives above the snow line, with a dog and two cats in Southern California's Los Padres National Forest.   She has been a featured poet at various Los Angeles and Orange County venues.  She is a Pushcart Prize nominee and her work has been published in 51%, The Antioch Review and The Valley of Contemporary Poets 2004 Anthology.  In 2.10 she left the University of Iowa with enough hours for two majors (Theatre and Art History) and not a single required subject.  She holds an MFA in Poetry from New England College.
