Sheryl Luna received the Andres Montoya Prize and her collection Pity the Drowned Horses was published by University of Notre Dame Press (2005). The collection was a finalist for the 2003 National Poetry Series. Poems have appeared in Poetry Northwest, Amherst Review, Georgia Review, American Literary Review, and elsewhere. She currently lives and teaches in Denver, Colorado.
